You can scroll back and forth through the file by using the shift key and the page up and page down keys. The cat command, short for “concatenate“, will print the grub file to the terminal screen. This will open a terminal window on your desktop. From your Desktop, press and hold the Control and Alternate Keys, then press the T key. Step 2 – Examine and create a backup of your current Grub file. Use the escape key to return to the Grub menu, then boot you computer, as per normal. Make a note of what resolutions are supported. Your should now see a list of screen resolutions supported by your BIOS.
